How I cut distractions

Eyooo friend!

So quick life update:

Sad to leave Lombok, felt at home here. Thinking of spending a longer time here next year :)) Now off to Bali for a couple of days.

Couple of thoughts

I

Don't forget to shut your mind up sometimes.

The stories, the pressure and the stress, it's all an illusion.

Just enjoy the present moment.

II

A lot of our procrastination and self sabotaging habits stem from avoiding a couple of emotions we don’t want to feel.

I feel like life moves in seasons. Periods of space, freedom and creation. Then periods of deeper focus. Give yourself the room to fully enjoy all these seasons.

I'm circling back into focus now.

In these periods of focus it’s all about cutting distractions.

So I've blocked out every morning in my calendar, a 4-hour non-negotiable block dedicated to the One Thing (the highest leverage task such that by doing it, everything else becomes easier or unnecessary)

This will mean that I have at least 4 hours of deep work every day on what actually matters most, before getting to any managing tasks.

Some bits of inspo
