Don't forget to celebrate the wins

Eyooo friend!
So quick life update:
Writing this from Hong Kong. I’m here on quick layover, but it’s a vibe here. Definitely need to come back.
Wrapped up my last week in Koh Phangan, even had a sketchy night boat trip where I almost died. A 4-month trip is coming to an end. Honestly life life-changing.

Couple of thoughts
I
Focus on input not on the outcome.
It’s pointless to focus on a goal as getting 100k views. Because you can’t control this.
Focus on input.
For example: Posting consistently or trying out a new experiment every post or spending 3 hours a week on learning new skills ie storytelling, editing, sound design etc.
II
Stop fighting what is and stop worrying about things you can’t control.
III
Your mind can play this weird trick on you.
One thing isn’t going well and suddenly it feels like everything is falling apart.
I had that this month.
I wasn’t happy with the amount of content I posted and my mind turned it into this whole negative spiral.
Then I looked back at the month and realised it was actually a really good month.
A little reminder:
Look back. Celebrate your wins :)

10 Themes from the Toa Te Ching + 1 quote
Tao —The Tao is the natural flow of life — the source behind everything. It's always here. When you stop forcing and start allowing, you align with it.
Centeredness — Stay centered instead of swinging between extremes. When you return to your inner balance, you move through life with more peace, clarity, and stability.
No Self — Don’t live life; let life live you. You will be truly yourself and perfectly fulfilled. This leaves nothing to fear, not even death.
Look Inside — Embrace solitude and trust your inner vision to see your oneness with the universe. Go deep instead of living on the surface.
Desire Non-Desire — Remove all expectations and stop seeking to realize the mystery of life. Be at peace in the present.
Not-Knowing Mind — Know that you don’t know. This is true knowledge. Observe your mind to understand. Stop thinking, and end your problems.
Non-Action Action — Through “non-action” and practicing “not-doing,” you will do everything that needs to be done. The Tao will act through you.
Non-Resistance, Non-Judgment, & Non-Attachment — Let things come and go, have without possessing, act without expecting.
Contentment & Simplicity — When you realize you have enough, you are rich. The whole world belongs to you. Simplicity returns you to the source.
Paradoxes — The truth of the Tao is often the opposite of what we expect: softness is strength, letting go brings control, stillness creates movement. Accept the paradoxes and you return to balance.
Do you have the patience to wait
until the mud settles and the water is clear?
Can you remain unmoving
until the right action arises by itself?
A good reminder to not force things.
Sometimes the best move is to wait patiently and do less.
