About judgment, learning reframe and things I'm loving atm

Eyooo friend!

So quick life update:

Things I’m loving at the moment (besides surfing lol):

— €2 Warung meals

— The whole analog and offline trend. Wanna lean more into it, also with the business. On top of that just wanna get the OG AirPods again and start filming sh*t on a camcorder.

— Tattoos, getting some new ones soon :))

— Learning the basics of Bahasa (so fun just learning some simple words and connecting more with the locals)

Couple of thoughts

I

Cool thing I picked up from a Joe Hudson podcast:

When we judge others, it's actually a coping mechanism, a way to avoid feeling a certain emotion.

So next time you catch yourself judging, ask:
if I couldn't judge right now, what emotion am I not letting myself feel?

Boom. Good stuff.

Reframing everything in life as a learning experience has brought me so much.

Life became so much more light. Everything feels less big and less daunting.

I tend to easily get into a negative mindset when things don't work out the way I want. Labeling it as a failure.

Since embracing this, everything is just a learning experience.
Didn't work out? Cool. What's the lesson.

The quickest way to change your life is to put yourself in an environment where you feel out of place and force yourself to level up.

“Man sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never truly lived.”
